Meet Your Speech Therapist

Denise Padgett, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Denise is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed in the United States to practice in Florida, Kansas, and Texas. She earned her B.S., Communication Science and Disorders and M.S., Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Florida.

Her experience includes working at a skilled nursing facility, in the public school system, in the international school community, and with private clients. Across settings she has been successful in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, training other professionals and parents, and providing therapy to individuals with speech and language impairments. Prior to returning to school to train as a speech-language pathologist/therapist Denise worked in many capacities supporting children and adults with varying abilities and support needs.

With a focus on embracing diverse linguistic and cognitive profiles, Denise tailors therapy plans and interventions to support each individual's unique needs and strengths. Through early intervention strategies and meeting clients where they’re at, Denise aims to empower clients and their families to enhance their communication abilities and navigate the complexities of speech-language impairment, neurodiversity and bilingualism (multilingualism) with confidence and resilience. Her passion lies in promoting inclusive practices that celebrate the richness of linguistic, cultural, and cognitive diversity.
